ICED: Cuban ‘KO Doctor’ Yunier Dorticos reaches WBSS final with Knockout of the Year contender against Andrew Tabiti

Yunier Dorticos qualified for the final of the World Boxing Super Series tournament with a monstrous KO on Saturday night.

The Cuban cruiserweight flattened American Andrew Tabiti in the tenth round of their semi-final in Riga, Latvia.

Tabiti’s frustrating style meant that the bout was woefully unentertaining for the first nine rounds.

The fighter from Floyd Mayweather’s gym attempted to replicate the master’s elusive style, but ultimately failed as he was deducted a point for holding and began to fall behind in the contest.
